MikeG has a quick review of the Constable Authorization Engine. I like the idea behind this product a lot. The only other tool on the market that is somewhat similar is Desaware’s State Coder.

Both products are much better realizations of the “Wizard Tool” that ships with ASP.NET 2.0.

Both tools use a state machine to allow a programmer better control over the flow of logic. Based on the description of the Constable Engine, it strikes me almost as the sort of UeberTool that a good coder can create via the use of Desaware’s State Coder.

Since both - in my mind - are related, I wanted list pointers to both of them here.
