E3 in Los Angeles - shoulda brought my camera
I’m famous for attending conferences without a camera. First the LA Car Expo, and now E3….. oh well.
So what did I like? XBox 360 dude. It rocks. Especially watching it being played on giant lcd sceens . I had the feeling that all lcd tv’s in Southern Caifornia had been bougth up by the conference.
Gamewise I liked the new Call of Duty 2. Mostly because it was being shown on XBox 360. Very very nice rendering.
On a funnier note, the guys at NewEgg.com were cruising around the outside of the convention center in a chopped London Double-Decker bus. It was hilarious. A moving party complete with with a very loud DJ spinning tunes on top and scantily clad hostesses. A clever idea. Hope it paid off. I already like them so the advertising was lost on me.
